今日英國廣播監管機構Ofcom 裁定中資新聞頻道CGTN編採權背後實際由中國政府控制（”editorially controlled by the Chinese Communist party”），以違反廣播規例為理由決定吊銷CGTN响英國嘅廣播牌照，即日黑畫面。

Ofcom嘅官方公布真係好mean， 「比晒機會佢地喇喎，係佢地自己選擇唔守規矩。」
“We’ve provided CGTN with numerous opportunities to come into compliance, but it has not done so.”

而英國政府聽到外交部嘅「責難」之後嘅反應射竟然係...射波？大腳交返個比Ofcom，

"This was a decision taken by Ofcom, which is fully independent of the UK Government, in line with existing regulations on broadcast licensing. All broadcasters must be compliant with the law."

[電視英文] 你聽懂了嗎❓女王日前全國演說的話中話👑

英式英文通常有給人婉約有理，但又話中有話的感覺，有時候需要深知歷史或文化，才可以真正了解其中的用意🙈

例如It’s not bad. 其實是很好之意

It’s interesting. 真正想說的是禮貌性的附和

在當前冠狀病毒來襲，全國lockdown，經濟停擺，人人只能待在家中

👑有國母之稱的英國女王，之前週日，特別發表電視演說，是有史以來的第五次特別演說

身分跟場合都極為特殊，話當然不能亂說，要考究且莊重，作為全英國的精神象徵，要帶給大家力量跟信心❤️

BBC長期以來報導皇室的記者Jonny Dymond，就特別分析了女王演說裡的話中話

我覺得有意思極了，帶給我多一點文化認知

❇️”Together we are tackling this disease… if we remain united and resolute we will overcome it".

一開頭當然就要破題，帶給大家信心跟強調團結

❇️I hope in the years to come everyone will be able to take pride in how they responded to this challenge.”

這次的冠狀病毒是百年的事件

“In the years to come”這五個字就暗示了歷史的定位。女王希望大家都可以在未來自豪地在這次事件的貢獻跟角色；或是說在將來多年後，歷史會如何評斷呢。

❇️Those who come after us will say the Britons of this generation were as strong as any."

這句需要歷史知識 - "Those who come after us will say..."
這是來自邱吉爾在1940的演說 - that even after 1,000 years "they will still say: 'This was their finest hour'." It’s an implicing war reference.

一樣暗示的是事件跟每個人角色的歷史重要性

這三個字彙 "Self discipline", "quiet good humoured resolve", "fellow-feeling" 顯示了女王用字謹慎，不將此事件比擬如戰爭般的非常情況，大家被困住的掙扎跟衝突，沒有強烈字眼的情緒字

❇️The pride of who we are is not in our past, it defines our present and our future.”

再次重申重點，是要帶給民心的安定跟啟發

女王提到她在年輕時的第一次公開廣播，是在二戰時期。當時她還是小孩，離開家庭去避難。
這句話也是由之前的歷史事件，指出這次可能也會有無辜的小孩無法見到他的父母或祖父。或是有人犧牲再也無法再看到親人。

這句是女王再度鋼鐵般的喊話。

❇️We will meet again”是第二次大戰時期一首非常有名的歌曲，女王用這句話作為整個演說的結尾句，是呼應就像大戰時期士兵們離家去打仗，還有他們的家庭或愛人的情境。

One of pre-world war II structures that still existing in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

The Atkinson Clock Tower is the oldest standing structure in Kota Kinabalu. It was originally known as the Atkinson Memorial Clock Tower and sits in solitary on the bluff along Signal Hill Road overlooking this seaside city and capital of Sabah, Malaysia

Radio Sabah’s broadcasting department used to be located near the clock tower in the 1950s and some old timers still remember the chimes over the radio before the BBC world news broadcast.
